The final week! It’s crazy to think how fast eight weeks really goes, even when you do a second round. In this LIIFT4 week 8 review you’ll notice the scenery is a little different than the first. Somehow I managed to delete the entire week from round one off my phone, and since that point, we moved. But, the workouts remained the same.
Do This For You!
When you make the decision to start a new routine, do yourself a favor, and stick with it! No matter if your goal is to lose weight, tone up, gain weight, practice more self-care or simply to drink more water. Start and don’t stop!
Will there be hiccups, of course. Will you get bored with drinking water and eating the same five veggies? Duh. (or maybe that’s just my issue). But no matter what, know that it takes 21 days to form a habit. If you get derailed at day 18. Guess what? Start over.
Take the Challenge
It’s no different with an new workout program, especially one that’s as challenging as LIIFT4 is, it’s is hard AF to stick with a workout. But what’s harder to find an exercise style that speaks to your soul and gets you out of bed in the morning. But I’ll let ya in on a little secret; once you find that type of exercise. A trainer you love (either at the gym or via your digital workouts). A meal plan that your body responds to immediately. It will all just click. You’ll feel so freaking good on the inside, you won’t give a shit what the scale says. But you’ll get on it every day just the same because you’re PROUD of the numbers you see!
That my friends, is what this journey is all about! And the final week of any program mean, there’s a first week just around the corner!
Bring on Week 8!
Chest/Back Circuit – always challenging, always rewarding by being sore for at lest two solid days afterwards!
Legs LIIFT 50/50 – Oh lordy. It took a mental adjustment to get into doing legs on Tuesday’s in these final two weeks of LIIFT4, but there is nothing better than hammering your largest muscle group first thing in the morning and knowing your body is burning calories all day from the work! I hope you have enough weight in your gym to rock this one!
Shoulder/Arms Circuit – The final circuit of the program! First off, I hate these pants and need to toss them. Hands down the most unflattering pair I have. All things aside, boy oh boy did Joel deliver an ass kicking. If I still used dry shampoo, these next two days are when it’d come in quite handy! Don’t worry, Nolan walked away from his weight encounter without any damage. 😉
Full Body HIIT – Here it is, the FINAL workout of the program! Although this week was captured in my second round, it was every bit as hard, challenging and rewarding as the first round. Plus I got to do it with twice as many clients, which made it even better!
There ya have it! The final review of my favorite new program from 2018! I’m happy to say this is a program I can’t wait to continue to come back to!
Overall, I could not be happier with this program, especially this final week. Aside from straining my shoulder/bicep tendon going heavy on chest press, I truly looked forward to every workout, and while I thought it would be hard to feel like I was getting everything I needed from just 4 days of work each week, that couldn’t have been further from the truth. I hope you’ve enjoyed these little LIIFT4 weekly snip-its. If you’re considering this program, know that it super easy to do at home or at the gym. Plug those headphones in, turn on your smart tv, or go old school from your lap top. Give it your all, and you’re going to love what LIIFT4 gives you!
