Do you go to the gym? Prefer to workout at home? Just like getting out for a walk or run? Well, as long as you’re staying active, that’s goal numero uno!
Now, one thing we need to agree on; you can’t out-work a bad meal plan (I really hate the word diet). What’s that mean? Simply, that you can be a fitness fanatic, ultra-marathoner, cross-fit queen, and Zumba until the cows come home, but if you eat like shit you’ll never get the results you’re after. Will you lose some weight, gain a little muscle, have clothes that fit better? Yea, of course. But I’m talking about results that make you feel amazing. Fueling your body is 70% of the battle, having a good exercise regimen makes up the other 30% of getting you to your goals.
Fitness and having a healthy lifestyle are just part of my DNA. It keeps my mental clarity in check, helps me relieve stress, stay energized and ward off the crazy so my family doesn’t want to shoot me. As you spend time with us here at Fit Active Life, my goal is to help YOU have the most fulfilling active life you can. For some people that will involve fitness, for others they need to learn ways to channel their stress, perhaps with meditation.
