Believe it or not, celery juice has some amazing benefits! In August 2019 I read the Medical Medium’s Celery Juice book and it explained SO much about the gut issues I had been struggling with for nearly 2 years at that point, and had ZERO answers to.
Two years of going through various food elimination and GI doc appts to be told I just needed to do a better job managing stress. Zero answers that in any way helped explain the constant bloating, gas, cramping, blockages. All the things that no matter how clean I ate, how much water I drank, how much I meditated or exercised – I just felt bla 😒 all the time.
Within the first two weeks after starting a celery juice routine, I already felt the benefits. It took that long to start detoxing, but I couldn’t believe how much better I felt overall, not just in my gut.
With my work travel schedule (pre-COVID-19) I usually missed one week a month, but as soon as I was back in town I’d fire my juicer back up. The recommendation is to drink 16+ ounces first thing in the morning on an empty stomach to get the max benefits.
Benefits of Consistency
I’m far from perfect, but I do it as many days a week as I can and with as much consistency as possible. It’s worth it! Worth the messy aftermath in the juicer. So worth working through the first few weeks as your body adjusts! Having a strong morning routine just makes a huge difference overall.
It’s also worth feeling the positive impact of having less brain fog, less acid reflux, having more hydrated skin (great for ppl with eczema or psoriasis), I’ve had fewer migraines and stress headaches too.
