Let’s face it, teachers spend more time with our kids 10 months out of the year than we do, so let’s spread the love for all the amazing educators out there with these fun teacher appreciation gift ideas!
Caffeine Lovers
Truthbomb! We all run on caffeine. But it would appear that teachers truly survive on it. I took a Facebook poll asking for teacher appreciation gift ideas and the number one suggestion I got, FROM teachers, was for coffee mugs, tumblers and coffee house gift cards. So, here are a few fun ideas for the special coffee loving teacher in your life.

Snag a few cup holders and have the kiddos draw up a fun “Thanks a latte” note to go with a gift card!
A tumbler or stainless steel travel mug is awesome because it can be used for hot or cold drinks! There are tons of cute Etsy shops where you can find fun personalized designs. Here are a few I’m in love with! Just click on the photo to go directly to the shop!

Don’t shoot me, but I think all things chevron are awesome, and this is no exception!
At Christmas, my sister-in-law gave us all RTIC tumblers. I think I love it even more than my Yeti, but not as much as my Hydro Flask. 😉 Keeps beverages hot and cold for hours! And yes…chevron (I’ll try to control myself…).
Here’s a stainless steel option, I love the sleek design and a cool option for male or female teacher.
If your teacher is a hardcore Starbucks lover, snag one of these cute personalized cups and drop a gift card in to seal the deal!
If Alcohol is More Their Style of Appreciation
Moving on, because honestly while I love coffee, I can relate to wine and beer drinkers a little bit more. 😉 Here are a few things to help your teacher wind down and enjoy time outside the classroom.
Did someone say beer 30? No matter if you’re looking for teacher appreciation gift ideas for your daughter’s second grade teacher, the PE teacher or the saint who runs before and after care, sometimes at the end of the day, a beer hits the spot.
Don’t drop your phone! This may just be my favorite idea of them all! You could totally make this a non-alcohol version too. What wine loving teacher wouldn’t want a Sangria gift “basket”?!
Stock the Drawers!
It’s no secret that teachers have huge hearts and small supply budgets. While I’ve seen the supply closet at my daughter’s school, I know that over the course of the year every teacher shells out their own cash to bring in special items for the kid’s projects during the year. When I ran my little social media poll, next to coffee gift cards, school supplies were the second most requested item. Everything from Sharpies to dry erase markers, to anti-bac wipes and white-out tape. You name it!
I like the idea of combo’ing gifts, like this from Around My Family Table.
I love the simplicity of this wooden box and think that any teacher would love to receive one of these with a few daily necessities and a special note from a student inside. Super affordable so you can stuff it with goodies.
Not sure about you, but I happen to love everything I’ve ordered AND used from Erin Condren. A couple of years ago we got my husband’s sister the teacher lesson planner. I honestly have no idea if she even used it, but Natalie had fun designing the cover and there are TONS of fun designs and customization’s you can do. A very nice and thoughtful gift if your teacher is the pen & paper planning type. ps…as of today, the teacher lesson planners are 30% off!
Fun Teacher Gift Baskets!
While I find a number of the above teacher appreciation gift ideas to be simple and well appreciated, I do think the kids have fun putting themed baskets like “movie night”, “ice cream social” and even “summer vacation” together. Just simple ideas like this one from Mrs. Jones Creations.
If ice cream is more up their alley, then this is totally the way to go! Hope over to Primarily Speaking, they have a great tutorial for how to bring this all together!
If you cruised right by the Sangria gift basket above, go check it out! I saw it here, and they have a ton of other fun gift basket ideas, including this one from Skip to my Lou. A cute basket or personalized tote bag with magazines, a tumbler, sunscreen and towel. Keep it simple, but with a personal touch.
On a Budget Ideas
Let’s face it, teachers aren’t the only ones on a budget, and when you need to buy for multiple teachers, aids and care-givers, it can really add up! So, I did some digging for a few ideas that I thought teachers would still find super thoughtful but would be on the more budget-friendly side for the family.

This pack of six watercolor printables from I Should Be Mopping the Floor is just $5, then you can pair them up with a fun frame and be good to go!
Then there’s this, I just love that it can truly be a one-of-a-kind gift.
I hope you enjoyed this round-up of teacher appreciation gift ideas. Thanks for letting me get a bit outside our food, fitness and self-care focus. I had a lot of fun exploring and can’t wait to spoil our teachers! If you have other gift ideas, please leave me a note and a link to check out!
